REMOVAL
Remove the right crankcase cover.
Hold the centrifugal clutch weight assembly with a clutch holder and remove the lock nut by turning it clockwise.
NOTE: The lock nut has left hand threads.
Remove the centrifugal clutch weight assembly and drum with a clamping two jaw puller or clutch puller 07933- HA80000.
NOTE: Jaws must be clamping type to ensure fit on clutch drum.
WEIGHT DISASSEMBLY/INSPECTION
Measure the weight lining thickness.
SERVICE LIMIT: 2.0 mm (0.08 in)
Remove the E-clips, washer, clutch spring and washer.
Check the weight springs for wear or damage.
Replace if necessary.
Measure the height of the clutch spring.
SERVICE LIMIT: 3.55 mm (0.140 in)
Replace the spring if it is shorter than the service limit.
