Power Sunroof Calibration
Condition
Some customers may comment that the sunroof may not close completely or after reaching closed position does not stop and continues to operate until the vent position is reached.
Re-Calibration Description
Sunroof Control Unit (SCU) has been designed to memorize closing and opening steps. However, the above condition may occur due to a loss of the memorized positioning data. The memorized positioning data can be lost when the operating current increases unusually over the specification operating current, 3.5-4.0 ampere because the foreign material is on sunroof guide rail or an object blocks the sunroof closing during operation.
SCU Re-Calibration Procedures
1. Press the switch rearward direction until the sunroof tilted open. Release the switch when the sunroof has fully opened.
Important: If the sunroof opens slightly and stops, release then press the switch and hold it and repeat these steps until the sunroof opens fully.
2. If the sunroof is stopped when close movement, press the switch forward direction until the sunroof close fully.
3. Press the switch rearward direction until the sunroof open for 15 seconds.
4. Confirm the re-calibration procedures by performing sunroof opening and closing operation.
