Note: It is easier if two persons do this task- one person to operate the controls and one person to record the machine cycle times.
!MWARNING
If two people are doing this job make sure that the person working the controls is a competent operator.
If the wrong control lever is moved, or if the controls are moved violently, the other person could be killed for injured.
1 Warm the engine to Increase the temperature of the hydraulic system to 50 degrees C.
2 Operate each service through it’s full travel 10 times to make sure that the warm oil is circulated through the engine.
3 When the hand controller lever is fully set, use a stopwatch to time each service from the start to the end of travel.
4 Do this task five times and make a record of the average of these readings.
Note: If the machine is installed with HBCV’s and there is a delay between the selection of the hand controller and movement of the cylinder:
– Open the bleed nipple on the HBCV and select the service to bleed the pilot signal to check valve, then repeat the cycle times.
