Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
1. Position refrigerant compressor (2) and install bolts (1) and (4).
2. Connect harness assembly (3) .
3. Position hose assemblies (5) and install bolt (6).
4. Install the belt for the air conditioning compressor. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".
5. Charge the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant". Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools".
