Only use a suitably approved screw-in fitting (1) for the respective engine.
1. Engine 642.8 with glow plug hole M10: remove check valve from the screw-in piece (1) 611 589 01 63 00.
2. Screw in screw-in fitting (1) to spark plug hole.
Use screw-in piece (1) 642 589 00 63 00 for engine 642.8 or engine 642.9 with glow plug hole M8 and screw-in piece (1) 611 589 01 63 00 for engine 642.8 with glow plug hole M10.
