Crankcase Ventilation Hoses/Pipes Replacement
Removal Procedure

1. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) foul air hose from the intake manifold and valve rocker arm cover.
2. Remove the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 6.0L.

3. Remove the PCV fresh air hose (2) from the valve rocker arm cover (1).
Installation Procedure

1. Install the PCV fresh air hose (2) to the valve rocker arm cover (1).
2. Install the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 6.0L.

3. Install the PCV foul air hose to the intake manifold and valve rocker arm cover.
Intake Manifold Replacement
Removal Procedure

1. Remove the throttle body. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 6.0L.
2. Remove the fuel injectors. Refer to Fuel Injector Replacement in Engine Controls - 6.0L.
3. Remove the vacuum brake booster hose.

4. Remove the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. Refer to Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Replacement in Engine Controls - 6.0L.

5. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) purge solenoid vent tubes (1) and (2).

6. Remove the intake manifold bolts (512).
7. Remove the intake manifold (500).

8. Remove the intake manifold gaskets (1) from the intake manifold.
9. Discard the old intake manifold gaskets.
Installation Procedure

1. Install new intake manifold gaskets (1) to the intake manifold.

2. Install the intake manifold (500).
3. Apply a 5 mm (0.2 in) band of threadlock GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489), or equivalent to the threads of the intake manifold bolts (512).
