Function (ENG95-A9J0-042-K-00-A)
• EGR valve (driven with electric motor)
Controls the gas flow from exhaust side to intake side. Since the exhaust pressure is higher than the boost pressure, the exhaust gas flows into the intake side.
• EGR cooler
Cools the exhaust gas.
The engine coolant is used for cooling.
• Intake air connector
Returns the air from the air-cooled aftercooler and the exhaust gas from the EGR valve to the intake side.
• Sensors
Control the EGR according to the operating condition.
Troubleshoot the system.
• Control each part of the EGR circuit and control the EGR rate according to the operating condition to clean the exhaust gas constantly.
• Monitor the condition of the EGR circuit and perform troubleshooting to prevent a serious failure.
