BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT
• Remove the front wheel. (Page 7-1)
• Remove the caliper by removing the caliper mounting bolts CD.
Tightening torque

• Remove the brake pads out of the caliper.
CAUTION:
* Do not operate the brake lever while dismounting the brake pads.
* Replace the brake pads as a set, otherwise braking-performance will be adversely affected.
NOTE:
Push in the piston all the way into the caliper when remounting the brake pads.
CALIPER REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY
• Remove the front wheel. (Page 7-1)
• Remove the caliper by removing the brake hose union bolt CD and caliper mounting bolts.
NOTE:
Catch brake fluid in a suitable receptacle.
