1. Recover the air conditioner refrigerant from the air conditioner system. The correct charge is 0.9 kg (2.0 lb). Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the procedure. Refer to Dealer Service Tool Catalog, NENG2500, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.
2. Remove bolts (2) in order to remove plate (1) . The weight of plate (1) is approximately 13 kg (29 lb).
