11. Apply Tooling (D) between inserts (14B) and ballstuds (14A). Install cap (14) and install bolts (13) .
Note: As required, use shims (14C) in order to allow the socket to move freely around ballstud (14A).
12. Assemble the same quantity of shims (14C) on both sides of ballstud (14A) .
Repeat Step 11 for the opposite side.
Install centershift cylinder (12). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Centershift Cylinder Remove and Install".
