THERMOSTAT
THERMOSTAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Drain the engine coolant. (Refer to ENGINE COOLANT, ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT.)
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
4. Fill the radiator with the specified amount and type of engine coolant. (Refer to ENGINE COOLANT, ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT.)
Thermostat Installation Note F2, G6
1. Install the thermostat into the cylinder head with the jiggle pin at the top.
2. Install a new gasket with the seal print side facing the cylinder head.
