Drive Belt Replacement
Removal Procedure

1. Rotate the drive belt tensioner counterclockwise in order to release the tensioner spring tension.
2. Remove the drive belt from under the tensioner.
3. Remove the drive belt from around the rest of the pulleys.

1. Install the drive belt around all the pulleys except for the tensioner.
2. Rotate the drive belt tensioner counterclockwise in order to release the spring tension.
3. Install the drive belt under the tensioner.
4. Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise until the tensioner contacts the belt.
Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement

1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.
2. Remove the appropriate drive belt idler pulley bolt.
3. Remove the appropriate drive belt idler pulley.

1. Position the appropriate drive belt idler pulley to either the generator bracket or the engine front cover.
2. Install the appropriate drive belt idler pulley bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement.

2. Remove the drive belt tensioner bolt.
3. Remove the drive belt tensioner.

1. Position the drive belt tensioner to the generator bracket.
2. Install the drive belt tensioner bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
